Years of Self-Governance under God’s Law

As we celebrate two-and-a-half centuries of America’s Representative Republic as defined by its one-of-a-kind Constitution of self governance under God’s Law, what grade would you give your generation in living up to the duties and responsibilities that are integral to self-governance? Lets see:

How many elected officials today do you know who govern using the Principles of Freedom? How many of our local judges and school board members know that the first textbook the Library of Congress issued for all students was the Bible? Or, that the purpose was to teach the shared moral code and our God-given rights to self-govern and the public/private duties to keep them?

What were we thinking in the 1960’s when we decided prayer and the Bible in the classroom violated the “separation of church and state” clause of the Constitution? How many know there is no such clause in the Constitution? Or, that removing God from the classroom is one of the 45 goals of Communism?

An educated electorate is one of the Principles of Freedom. Educated in what? Critical Race Theory? Gender Studies? Have we lost our ability to discern right form wrong, good from not good? How did that happen?

The Israelite’s had to wander in the dessert for 40 years in order for the two generations to pass who knew only government by enslavement of tyrants. Saul Alinsky developed and taught at the University of Chicago his Marxist 40 year plan to overthrow a government from the inside out, without a shot being fired. Was he waiting for the last two generations of Americans to pass who had grown up learning to self-govern by God’s Natural Law?

VLS’s goal is to restore the US Constitution by restoring awareness of the Principles of Freedom and the responsibilities and duties necessary to keep them. You are invited to help.
